Sports Club OS is run by two people, Adam Gough and Simon Craft. Between them they build it, set each club up and support it.

Adam works in IT, running high-volume automations for large businesses. He has been writing software-as-a-service apps since the early 2000s, and some of them have been acquired. He still runs two services that are more than 15 years old, including MailStones.
He built Sports Club OS, and he is a member of a sports club himself.
Simon has been a product owner of software-as-a-service apps in Australia for 15 years.
He leads the rollout to clubs: setting up, changeover and training, alongside Adam.
WHAT IT AIMS TO BE
What Sports Club OS aims to be
Clear, fast and secure.Staff, volunteers and members can find what they need quickly, and the club’s data is kept safe. The Trust Centre has the detail.
It does most of the club’s admin.Applications, renewals, invoices, rosters, reminders and reports run from one set of records, so there is less re-typing and chasing.
The committee and the office can see and control the club. The committee sees how the club is going, and the club decides who can see and change what.
It keeps developing.New features arrive through the year, shaped by the clubs using it.
WHAT A CLUB GETS
What a club gets from Sports Club OS
Better service to members.Members book, enrol and see their account from a phone.
More engagement.Members hear from the club, join classes and enter competitions in the same place.
More use of courts and facilities.Members book free courts and tables themselves, and the office sees how busy each one is.
Less admin. The office and volunteers do each job once, in one system.
Fewer apps and fewer subscriptions.Members, bookings, invoices, the roster, functions, email, the club’s website and competitions are in one system.
Sports Club OS grew out of Grace Park Hawthorn Club in Melbourne. Tennis, squash and snooker. A gym and classes. A bar, a function room, and a volunteer committee holding it all together.
For years the club ran on a desktop program. It was thorough, and it was showing its age: little could be done from a phone, little connected to anything else, and the roster, the email list and function enquiries each lived somewhere different.
Club member Adam Gough built Sports Club OS to bring those parts into one place. Every part was built for a real job at the club, with the people who do that job, and the words on each screen are the ones the office and the volunteers use.
Sports Club OS is new. We are taking on our first clubs and setting each one up personally.
Sports Club OS is a trading name of AS Gough Pty Ltd.
