SWITCHING FROM SPORTLOGIC
Switching from SportLogic to Sports Club OS
Sports Club OS was built at a club that ran on SportLogic’s inTennis. We read its exports today, and bring your members, payments and bookings across for you.
WHAT COMES ACROSS
Members, payments and bookings
- Members and families, with their membership types.
- Payments.
- Bookings, including the weekly regulars.
We look at your exports with you first, and agree what comes across before anything changes.
WHAT CHANGES
What changes for the office, members, staff and committee
- For the office. The club runs in a web browser, on any computer, with nothing to install or back up.
- For members. They book, enrol and see their account from a phone, at the club’s own address, such as yourclub.sportsclubos.net.
- For staff.Shifts arrive by email or text, and they answer from the link.
- For the committee. Each person sees their part, and the club decides who can do what.

THE STEPS
How the move goes
We look at your exports
And how your club runs.
We set up the club
Courts, membership types, fees, roles.
Your data comes across
You check it, on your own club.
You are shown around
The office and the committee, before anything is switched on.
You switch on
Members are told, and we stay close for the first weeks.
WHO DOES WHAT
Who does what in a changeover
| Stage | The club | Sports Club OS |
|---|---|---|
| Before anything changes | Gives us the old system’s exports and spreadsheets, and tells us how the club runs. | Looks at what the club has, and agrees with the club what comes across. |
| Setting up the club | Decides the courts, rooms, membership types, fees and roles, and who holds which role. | Sets the club up with you. |
| The data | Checks the data on its own club, and says when it is right. | Copies the data across from the old system’s exports. |
| Training | Brings the office and committee to the sessions, and invites staff to their shifts. | Shows the office and committee around, on the club’s own data. |
| Switching on | Chooses the day, tells members, and cancels the old system when it is ready to. | Stays close through the first year. |
THE APPROACH
How the move is kept safe
- The data is checked before anything changes. It is copied across from the old system’s exports, and the club checks it on its own club.
- Both systems can run side by side. The old system keeps running until the club is happy.
- The old system is not cancelled until the club says so.So stepping back is possible.
- Your data can come back out.The club’s Administrator can download everything the club holds at any time, as spreadsheets and JSON files. Each download is recorded.
