Taking your classes

As a coach you use Sports Club OS on your phone for your own sessions: who is booked, the roll, and telling the class when something changes. The Coach role does this by default. A lead coach sees every session their team is taking.

Before your first session

• Your login. The club makes you a login with your email address, or you already have one as a member.
• Your coach record. The head coach adds you as a coach with the same email address. The first time you sign in, Sports Club OS ties your login to it. Until then, My sessions says Your login is not tied to a coach yet. Ask the head coach to check the email address on your coach record.

1. See your sessions

Open Me › > Staff portal › > My sessions. It says Your sessions this week. Press one to open its roll., with how many you have today and this week and how many places are booked. Each session shows its time and length, the class, the place and how many are booked. A session running now is marked On now.

2. Take the roll

Press a session to open its roll, made for a phone. Everyone booked is listed with their name, a child's age and any medical note. Press the tick beside each person as they arrive, to mark them here, then press Finish the roll. The roll says Roll taken. If a session has finished and the roll was not taken, the roll says so: tick who came, then press Finish the roll. See Take the roll on your phone.

• Add someone who turned up: type two letters or more of their name to find them.
• Let in someone from the waiting list when there is room.
• Ready to move up: for a junior who is ready for the next stage. The parent is told, and chooses the new group.

3. Tell the class, or cancel

From the roll:

• Message everyone sends a message to everyone booked on the session.
• Cancel this session cancels it, with a note that goes to everyone booked.
• Someone else is taking this sets a cover coach.

On My sessions, Rain: cancel outdoor sessions cancels every outdoor session still to come today, and everyone booked is told.

What you see of members

You see only what you need to run the session: each person's name, a child's age and any medical note. You do not see their membership or their date of birth. You see what they paid only where your coaching business collects the fees itself.
