POS settings, tab by tab
Every till setting on POS settings, what it does, what it starts as and who can change it: licence and hours, prices and accounts, receipts, tills and printers.
Who this is for: Anyone with “Run the till” (by default: Administrator, Bar Manager).
holds the till's settings, in four tabs. They are for the bar manager by default: the Bar Manager role can change them, and your club can give this to others on Roles & permissions. The first three tabs share one Save settings button and say Unsaved changes until it is pressed. Tills and printers save each change as it is made. Every save is written to the audit log.
Licence and hours

|---|---|---|
| A line under the club's name | A line printed under the club's name on every receipt. | Empty |
| A line at the foot | A line at the foot of every receipt. | "Thank you for supporting the club." |
The tab shows the club's name and ABN as every receipt shows them, and a receipt as it prints with made-up items. The name, ABN and address are changed on the club's details in Settings by an administrator. See Receipts and receipt printers.
Tills and printers
Tills. Each till has a name, its receipt printer, and whether staff sign in on it with a PIN. On each till's row:
- Staff sign in with a PIN: makes it a PIN till and shows its address once. See Till PINs and switching between staff.
- Replace its code: a new address for a PIN till. The old one stops working at once, and whoever is switched in there is switched out.
- Stop using it and Put back in use.
- Remove: its sales and sessions stay on record.
Register a till adds one, with a name, a receipt printer and Staff sign in with a PIN. Until a till is registered, the till page works as a single till called "Till".
Receipt printers. Star printers with CloudPRNT. Each shows whether it has been heard from (Not heard from yet, Connected or Problem), which till it prints for, Replace its address and Remove. Register a printer adds one and shows the address to type into the printer's CloudPRNT settings, once.
A till's address or a printer's address is shown once, with Copy, and cannot be shown again: only replaced.
Set elsewhere
- Products and their prices: .
- A household's own account limit, and whether its juniors may charge or spend credit: the Purchases tab of the member's page.
- Your own till PIN: Password & two-factor, from the account menu.
