Why didn't a member get my text?

The text's own page says what happened to every number and who was left out, so start there. Open it from Club › > Communications › > Previous, or open the member's page, where Text message choices lists the latest texts sent to their number and what happened to each.

These are the reasons, most likely first.

They were left out

Under Left out when it was sent, find the member by name. If you cannot see members, the list shows counts only.

• Have not said yes to this kind of text. Only Essential texts go to people who have not said yes. See How members choose which texts they get.
• Said no to this kind of text or Said no to all texts. Their choice. The office may change it only when the member has asked.
• Said no by replying STOP. Only the member can start texts again, by replying START. See STOP and START.
• Under 18, so never texted directly. A child is never texted directly.
• Share a mobile with someone who is getting it. One copy went to the number, in the name of one of them.
• No mobile number on record, or Not an Australian mobile number. Add an Australian mobile to their details.

The text failed

If Each person shows Failed, the number did not receive it, and the reason is under the number.

It shows Delivered but they say they did not see it

Delivered means the network says it reached the phone. Ask them to check the club's number is not blocked and to look in any folder their phone puts unknown numbers in. Suggest they save the club's number.

The text was stopped, or the month's limit was reached

A stopped text shows Stopped against every number. A text that would take the month past the club's limit is refused before anything is written, and the Send step says so. See Set up texts to members.
